David Groce is a business lawyer with over twenty years of experience representing companies in a number of major industries across North America, Europe, and Asia. David has been General Counsel of three large companies and in those roles he had responsibility for all legal, regulatory, governance, and compliance functions for those businesses. His diverse experience covers virtually every facet of business law from commercial transactions to labor and employment to intellectual property and SEC compliance. David has successfully led his clients through a large number of strategic transactions with a combined value of almost $7 billion.
After beginning his career with a large law firm in Texas, David spent a couple of decades working within the Fortune 500 community. That work has given him a keen appreciation for operating on the client side of the attorney-client relationship. As someone who has been responsible for purchasing more than $200 million worth of legal services, David brings a unique sensitivity to the expectations and goals of The Brickhouse Law Group’s clients.
David has also devoted a portion of his career to strategic planning and operational review. He once served as VP of Corporate Strategy for a global Fortune 500 company and he has consulted with a large number of emerging, small and mid-sized companies. Many clients find that, in addition to his background as a business lawyer, David can leverage his experience to lend a highly valuable perspective on performance, markets, competition, and process improvement to our clients.
